In 2015 a small group of Life Science commercial leaders met to discuss the idea of filling a gap in the San Diego Life Science community, the lack of a dedicated forum for commercially-minded executives to share ideas in a casual setting over a beverage.

From that first meeting, which included Paul Daruwala, CEO at Cellics Therapeutics, Bryan Selby, GM, SVP Commercial Operations at Travere Therapeutics, Scott Garrett, VP Commercial Strategy at Turning Point Therapeutics/BMS, Tony Yost, Chief Commercial Officer at Otonomy, Gary Choy, Co-Founder and CEO, f5 Therapeuticts, Mike Walther, President at Prometheus Laboratories Inc., and Jonathan Hee, Chief Commercial Officer at Aries Pharmaceuticals, the San Diego Life Science Commercial Executive Network was born.

In 2022 the group officially re-branded as Com-X Network, San Diego. We currently have over 100 members from ~40 local companies.
