Roundtable Discussion Topics
1- Activating the Rep of the Future: Practical AI Use Cases for Today’s Field Teams
Sponsored by: Beghou
Although AI is gaining attention across the industry, many organizations are still in the early stages of applying it to support, deploy, and measure the field force.
The opportunity lies in thoughtfully using AI and analytics to improve how field teams identify opportunities, prepare for customer interactions, coordinate across functions, and act on the information available to them.
Join us for a roundtable discussion on how to leverage AI to activate the rep of the future.
Topics for discussion:
Building on survey data and real-world examples, we’ll discuss how organizations are already seeing value from practical, high-impact AI use cases, such as:
Synthesizing med affairs notes
Improving NBA guidance
Prioritizing the right HCPs
Identifying patients with a rare disease, both before and after diagnosis
Generating more timely performance insights
2- 3 Cost-Effective AI Case Studies That Accelerate Sales Ops, Master Data & Analytics
Sponsored by: Gridlex
AI delivers the greatest value when it solves practical commercial challenges with measurable ROI. This session showcases three real-world AI case studies that automate manual processes, improve data quality, and accelerate commercial decision making without requiring major platform replacements.
AI-Powered Master Data, Organization & Contact Intelligence: Commercial teams rely on accurate HCO, GPO, IDN, physician group practice, payer, and physician data, yet maintaining these relationships is complex and labor intensive. AI automatically builds and enriches organizational hierarchies, affiliations, decision makers, and verified contact information by combining multiple commercial data sources, creating a continuously updated view for better targeting and engagement.
AI-Generated Automated Territory & Regional Performance Presentations: Preparing territory reviews, regional business reviews, and executive presentations is time consuming and often inconsistent. AI can generate hundreds of personalized Territory and Regional Performance presentations every week from live CRM and commercial data, complete with KPIs, account insights, trends, opportunity analysis, and recommended actions, allowing teams to focus on execution instead of reporting.
AI New Market & Churn Sales Agents: AI agents continuously monitor commercial signals to identify prescriber churn risk and new market opportunities. Churn Agents detect declining engagement and recommend next best actions before revenue is impacted, while New Market Agents identify expanding health systems, physician group practices, and referral opportunities, enabling sales teams to engage high-value opportunities sooner.
Topics for discussion:
Practical AI use cases that improve sales operations, master data, and commercial analytics with measurable ROI.
How AI automates manual commercial workflows to improve productivity and decision making.
Best practices for implementing cost-effective AI solutions using existing commercial data.
3- Perspectives on AI for Emerging Biopharma
Sponsored by: IQVIA
Explore how AI is transforming life sciences by enhancing efficiency, enabling smarter decision-making, and delivering more personalized experiences. In this session, you'll learn about emerging Agentic AI capabilities, hear insights from industry leaders, and discover how organizations are using predictive AI and data-driven intelligence and technology to accelerate commercial success and support brand growth for emerging biopharma companies.
Topics for discussion:
Explore high-impact AI use cases identified by IQVIA and industry leaders.
Learn how Agentic AI can improve efficiency, engagement, and decision-making across commercial teams.
Understand how AI-driven insights and data can help optimize experiences and improve business outcomes.
4- The Culture Tax: The Challenge Every Commercial Team is Quietly Facing
Sponsored by: PraxisPro
Pharma commercial organizations have made significant investments in AI, from training
solutions, marketing intelligence, pre-call intelligence, field coaching tools, and next-best-action
engines. And yet, utilization rates tell a different story. The technology is often ready. The
organization frequently is not there yet.
Deploying AI across a commercial organization isn't just a technology implementation; it's a
cultural intervention. It requires field reps to change how they prepare, managers to change how
they coach, and commercial leaders to change what they measure and reward. For most
organizations, that change management piece isn't in the budget, isn't in the project plan, and
isn't owned by anyone.
The companies winning with AI aren't necessarily the ones with the best tools. They're the ones
who treated adoption as a strategic priority, not an afterthought
Join us for a candid conversation on what it actually takes to build an AI-ready commercial culture and what's quietly killing ROI for organizations that skip it.
Topics for discussion:
Culture before technology: Is your commercial organization culturally prepared to adopt, scale, and sustain AI, or are you deploying into a change-resistant environment and calling it transformation?
The adoption gap: Why do AI tools with strong business cases and executive sponsorship still fail in the field, and who is accountable when they do?
Manager behavior as the multiplier: Field managers are the anchor of AI adoption. Are your people leaders equipped and incentivized to model AI-enabled workflows, or are they the silent bottleneck?
Measuring what matters: If your field effectiveness metrics haven't evolved since you deployed AI, have you actually transformed anything, or just added new tools to old workflows?
Building versus buying the culture: Can AI readiness be trained and coached, or does it require structural changes to how commercial organizations hire, onboard, and develop talent?
5- Experiencing the Future Beyond Plan B
Sponsored by: Syneos Health
While some trends are very predictable the outcomes of others are highly unforeseeable such as the scale of patient direct models (e.g., DTC, DTP), clinical results from competing pipelines, payer management shifts, drug pricing policies, AI in medicine, and many more.
Often, business success is not as much dependent on one specific outcome of an external uncertainty as it is about being prepared for whatever the outcome is. The real problem is two-fold: (1) we cannot know which outcome will emerge, but (2) we often become overconfident in our planning and focus on only one specific outcome that we think (with bias) is most likely.
Reliable AI-supported methods that examine important realms of possibilities and avoid prematurely, overconfidently and irresponsibly picking one unknowable future prevents disastrous surprises, discovers hidden opportunities, and aligns teams. It also empowers organizations and teams to narrate their own probability of success.
In this session you have the opportunity to experience the future with reinvented real-world methods that involve valuable structured exploration, curious humans, and empowering AI capabilities. After that, all you’ll need is the wisdom to adopt and engage in the process.
Topics for discussion:
The responsible discipline of examining multiple relevant and plausible outcomes of important and uncertain trends, issues and events
Choosing the right ‘foresight tech stack’ for the right job
A current (and uncertainty-riddled) application: how can our company benefit from building a patient direct drug dispensing model?
6- Executing Lean: Supporting Your HCP Customers Without Big Pharma Budgets
Sponsored by: PrescriberPoint
A lean commercial organization runs on a fraction of big pharma’s field force and media budget — thirty reps, not three hundred. You can’t out-reach or out-spend the incumbents, and trying is how launch budgets die. But prescribers and patients don’t grade on a curve: the expectation is set by the best experience they’ve had, whoever built it.
From the prescriber’s chair, most of what a launch sends is noise. What breaks through is rarely the biggest budget — it’s the thing that answers a question the moment the clinician has it. So the provocation at the center of the room: do you actually know what your HCP customers need — or are you spending your limited budget on what your organization assumes they need?
This is not a presentation with Q&A at the end. Each attendee arrives with one real challenge, and the room works those challenges collaboratively — peer-to-peer, candid, and anonymized. It is deliberately non-promotional, and everyone leaves with one actionable idea committed out loud, plus an anonymized summary of the room within 48 hours.
Topics for discussion:
Earning attention: What actually earns a busy specialist’s attention — and what are you funding that a prescriber would never notice?
Getting found: When a clinician has a question about your therapy, are you there — in their workflow, at that moment — or somewhere they aren’t looking?
Keeping the scripts you win: Where do prescriptions leak away — coverage, cost, the pharmacy counter — and how have peers closed the gap no small team owns?
Build, buy, partner, or skip: What did peers overbuild versus underbuild, where did digital, data, and AI extend a small team’s reach, and what was expensive theater?
How would you know? What’s the smallest test that separates an actual clinician need from an internal assumption?
